Fishing leveling guide

Fishing in Cata Classic runs from 450 to 525 in Twilight Highlands and Uldum, and the fish feed the Cataclysm cooking recipes. Even with good lures you will catch a lot of junk at first.

Trainers and tips

• Illustrious Grand Master Fishing is taught by the fishing trainers in the capital cities. Learn it between 425 and 450.
• The daily fishing quests come from Catherine Leland in Stormwind City for the Alliance and Razgar in Orgrimmar for the Horde. They give skill, gold and sometimes a rare prize.
• Around 450 to 470 about one catch in three is junk. Use lures and fish in pools where you can, since they give no junk.
