Leatherworking leveling guide
Leatherworking in Cata Classic runs from 450 to 525 on
Savage Leather, which makes Skinning the natural partner. Turn about 600 Savage Leather into
Heavy Savage Leather on the 485-490 step: the rest of the route needs roughly 120. Counts are approximate: a recipe can turn green a few points earlier or later.

Trainers and tips
- Illustrious Grand Master Leatherworking is taught by the leatherworking trainers in the capital cities, such as Stormwind City and Orgrimmar, from character level 75.
- The Bloodthirsty patterns are sold by the leatherworking supplies vendors in the capital cities. Each turns yellow after about five points, so buy the next one then.
Cloak of War can replace Cloak of Beasts on the 496-510 step if its materials are cheaper.
