Leatherworking leveling guide
Leatherworking in MoP Classic runs from 525 to 600 on the leather of Pandaria, which makes Skinning the natural partner. The last 25 points come from one Contender’s pattern, and about 150 leather or scales finish the job. Counts are approximate: a recipe can turn green a few points earlier or later.

Trainers and tips
- Zen Master Leatherworking is taught by the leatherworking trainers in the capital cities from character level 80, so you do not have to travel to Pandaria for it.
- The Contender’s patterns cost a Spirit of Harmony at Tanner Pang in the Shrine of Seven Stars for the Alliance and Krogo Darkhide in the Shrine of Two Moons for the Horde. It does not matter which one you pick.
- Misthide Chestguard stays orange a long time, so it is the safest step to overbuy for.
