Leatherworking leveling guide
Leatherworking in WotLK Classic runs from 375 to 450 on Borean Leather, which makes Skinning the natural partner. Learn Grand Master Leatherworking at character level 65 as soon as you reach Northrend. Counts are approximate: a recipe can turn green a few points earlier or later.

Heavy Borean Leather is made from Borean Leather: the later recipes need about 320, so make them all on the 390-405 step. Frozen Orbs come from Northrend dungeons on heroic difficulty.

- Grand Master Leatherworking is taught by Diane Cannings in Dalaran for both factions, by Bernadette Dexter in Howling Fjord and Rosemary Bovard in Borean Tundra for the Alliance, and by Gunter Hansen in Howling Fjord and Awan Iceborn in Borean Tundra for the Horde.
- Dark Iceborne Leggings with Crystallized Shadow work just as well as Dark Frostscale Leggings, and Icescale Leg Armor can replace Frosthide Leg Armor.
- Fur Lining for bracers is only for leatherworkers and is one of the best reasons to keep this tradeskill at 450.
