Cooking leveling guide

Cooking is a secondary skill, so every character can learn it next to two main tradeskills. It runs from 1 to 300 on meat from beasts and fish from Fishing, and you cook next to a campfire or a fire in town. Where a step lists two dishes, pick the one whose ingredients you have. Counts are approximate: a recipe can turn green a few points earlier or later.

• Journeyman comes from a cooking trainer at level 10. The Expert Cookbook, from 125 and level 20, is sold by Shandrina in Ashenvale for the Alliance and Wulan in Desolace for the Horde. Artisan comes from the quest Clamlette Surprise from Dirge Quikcleave in Gadgetzan, from 225 and level 35.
• Curiously Tasty Omelet is sold by Kendor Kabonka in Stormwind and Keena in Arathi Highlands, Roast Raptor by Hammon Karwn and Keena in Arathi Highlands.
• Gikkix in Tanaris sells Spotted Yellowtail, Poached Sunscale Salmon and Nightfin Soup, and Himmik in Winterspring sells Monster Omelet.
• Fishing supplies most of the fish, so level both together.
