Alchemy leveling guide
Alchemy in MoP Classic runs from 525 to 600 on the herbs of Pandaria, which makes Herbalism the natural partner. Many recipes are discovered while you craft, so the route leans on Green Tea Leaf, the cheapest herb, until the better recipes show up. Counts are approximate: a recipe can turn green a few points earlier or later.
What to gather or buy

| Fool’s Cap | 25 |
Snow Lily grows in Kun-Lai Summit, and Fool’s Cap in Townlong Steppes and the Dread Wastes. Elixir of Perfection (Silkweed) or Elixir of the Rapids (Rain Poppy) can replace Virmen’s Bite.

Trainers and tips
- Zen Master Alchemy is taught by the alchemy trainers in the capital cities from character level 80, so you do not have to travel to Pandaria for it.
- Every craft can discover a new recipe. Stop making a recipe once it turns green if you still have orange or yellow ones.
- Keep herbs for the last step: if Master Mana Potion has not shown up yet, keep making the potions from the step before until it does.
