Alchemy leveling guide

Alchemy in WotLK Classic runs from 375 to 450 on Northrend herbs, which makes Herbalism the natural partner. Learn Grand Master Alchemy at character level 65 as soon as you reach Northrend. Counts are approximate: a recipe can turn green a few points earlier or later.

• Northrend Alchemy Research teaches new recipes and has a long cooldown, so use it whenever it is ready.
• Transmutes need a Philosopher’s Stone in your bags. Any flask works for the last step, so pick the one whose herbs are cheapest.
