First Aid in WoW Forever: potions, curatives and trainers

First Aid is a secondary tradeskill, so it never takes one of your two main slots. In WoW Forever it does far more than bandages: it now crafts the healing potions, and curatives against poison, disease and bleeding.

What changes in Forever

• Healing potions moved from Alchemy to First Aid. They work in combat, so First Aid pays off for healers too.
• Curatives against disease and bleeding join the anti-venoms. The new ones cannot be used in combat, writes Warcraft Tavern.
• Camp objects: a First Aid Kit for Stamina, and two workstations with potions at a campsite.
• The bandages of Classic are all still there.

The Expert book is sold by Deneb Walker in Stromgarde Keep, Arathi Highlands (/way 27.0 58.8), for the Alliance, and by Balai Lok’Wein in Brackenwall Village, Dustwallow Marsh (/way 36.4 30.4), for the Horde. It is not soulbound, so it also shows up at the Auction House.

Artisan comes from the quest Triage. The Alliance gets Triage from Doctor Gustaf VanHowzen on Theramore Isle (/way 67.6 48.8), the Horde Triage from Doctor Gregory Victor in Hammerfall (/way 73.4 36.8). The breadcrumbs Alliance Trauma and Horde Trauma start with the trainers in Ironforge and Orgrimmar, but you can skip them.

Leveling

Wowhead now has two complete routes. Both need the same books from 150: Expert First Aid - Under Wraps for the rank, and the manuals Manual: Heavy Silk Bandage and Manual: Mageweave Bandage, all from the Expert vendors above. They can be traded, so the Auction House works too.

The fast route to 150: healing potions. The potions skip the bandages and need only herbs, a vial and spices from a tradeskill vendor.
