Engineering leveling guide
Engineering in MoP Classic runs from 525 to 600 on Ghost Iron Bar, turned into Ghost Iron Bolts and High-Explosive Gunpowder, which makes Mining the natural partner. The route needs about 180 bolts and 30 gunpowder in total. Counts are approximate: a recipe can turn green a few points earlier or later.

Windwool Cloth drops from humanoids in Pandaria. Lapis Lazuli comes from prospecting Ghost Iron Ore. Thermal Anvil can replace Mirror Scope if you have gunpowder to spare.

Trainers and tips
- Zen Master Engineering is taught by the engineering trainers in the capital cities from character level 80, so you do not have to travel to Pandaria for it.
- Make bolts and gunpowder as you go: making them all at 525 wastes nothing, because they stay useful to the end.
- Lord Blastington’s Scope of Doom (Ghost Iron Bolts, Primordial Ruby and a Spirit of Harmony) works as well as Mist-Piercing Goggles for the last points.
