Leveling addons for WoW Forever
World of Warcraft: Forever launches on 4 November 2026, and the two best known paid leveling addons both plan to be there. This page collects what each has announced, and what changes about leveling routes in Forever.

Neither has shown its Forever route yet, which is no surprise: the beta only opened on 17 September and runs to 21 October, and the level cap rises during it. Treat both as a promise for launch day rather than as something you can test now.
Why a Classic route will not do
Forever is not Classic Era with extras bolted on. Three changes break an existing route:
- Four new zones and three ports. Mount Hyjal, Shen’Dralas, Riverglades and Zephras Isle come at launch, with new boat routes. See the four new zones.
- Over 1,000 new quests on top of the roughly 3,000 that exist, which changes where the experience sits.
- Dungeon experience moved. Killing inside a dungeon gives less, the dungeon quests give much more, so one run pays and a repeat run does not. See the dungeon experience change.
On top of that, the mount is handled differently: the gold moved to the riding training, and the first mount is free.
The free options
- Questie shows quest objectives on the map and works on every version soon after a patch. It gives no route.
- Guidelime plays routes written by the community. It works as soon as someone writes a Forever route, and that is the part to wait for.
Free and paid are not exclusive. The trade-offs are in free and paid leveling help compared.
Which one to pick for Forever
- You want the fastest run on day one, and you level more than one character. RestedXP is built for that, and a Forever guide is already orderable.
- You want help beyond leveling, with gear, talents, dungeons and gold in one addon, and you do not mind a subscription. Zygor covers more ground.
- You are not in a hurry. Questie plus your own reading is enough, and a free Guidelime route may well turn up in the first weeks.

Questie and Guidelime are free and keep working on new versions, although a Guidelime route for Forever has to be written by someone first.
