Four dungeon guides show the new loot

The Deadmines, Shadowfang Keep, Blackfathom Deeps and The Stockade each have a guide on the site now. Every guide holds the way in, the route, every quest and every boss. Almost every boss drop there is blue in World of Warcraft: Forever.

The guides build on the dungeon and quest guides of Warcraft Tavern. The loot comes from a comparison of the tooltips of Classic Era with those of the Forever beta, item by item.

Four dungeons, four guides

• The Deadmines, bosses of level 19 to 21: six Alliance quests, eight bosses, the Defias Leather set and the Partners in Crime ring.
• Shadowfang Keep, bosses of level 20 to 26: three Horde quests and nine bosses.
• Blackfathom Deeps, bosses of level 25 to 28: quests for both factions and eight bosses.
• The Stockade, bosses of level 24 to 29: six Alliance quests and the loot of Bruegal Ironknuckle.

What changed on the loot

Many drops gained an effect. Rockslicer mines ore without the tradeskill, Smelting Pants smelt 25% faster and Baron’s Scepter heals the whole party. Strike of the Hydra from Aku’mai now deals Fire and Frost damage and slows the target.

Caster items often trade Intellect for spell damage and healing. The Defias Leather set got four new bonuses, among them a bleed on attacks from behind.

First Mate Band also changed since the post of 23 September. The ring now gives 4 Strength and 5 Stamina, and the set bonus went from 20 to 22 Strength.

What is not known

Blizzard has not published the drop tables of Forever. The guides list the loot by the bosses that dropped it in Classic, so a boss can still drop something else. The quest rewards changed too, writes Warcraft Tavern, but which items they give now is not known.
