Voidwalkers get 40 more health in a hotfix

Blizzard has added a second, much longer round of hotfixes to its list for World of Warcraft: Forever. The Voidwalker already gets about 40 more health at every level, Druid healing with Bloom works again, three dungeons are fixed and the Tanning Rack needs less Leatherworking skill. The first round of 5 November is in our earlier post.

Classes

  • Warlock: the Voidwalker has about 40 more base health at every level. Soul Siphon no longer makes Wrack raise its own damage. The bigger changes to pets and Affliction follow on Tuesday.
  • Druid: Bloom heals its target again. The tooltips of Bear Form, Ravage and Swiftmend showed the wrong numbers; only the text changed.
  • Mage: Mages no longer learn Research and then lose it on relog. That spell should not exist, you only get Study after its quest. Arcane Blast now lasts the full 18 seconds.
  • Rogue: Shank shows Rank 1 and Rank 2 in its tooltip, and with Boot Knife it shows the right number of combo points.
  • Warrior: the tooltip of Reckless Swings now says that it activates Gore Drinker.
  • The legacy talent The Quick and the Dead sometimes did not work. Fixed.
  • The Cooldown Manager always shows the right duration of crowd control, also with diminishing returns or the Orc stun reduction.

Races

  • Night Elf: Druids in Shadowmeld could use Ravage and Pounce. Fixed.
  • Orc: some Warlock pet abilities gained too much from the Orc racial Command.

Dungeons

Leatherworking

The Tanning Rack (Tanning Rack) now needs skill 125, down from 140, so it no longer blocks patterns at 125. It gives skill points 15 earlier to match. More on the profession on our Leatherworking page.

Quests

Monsters and the world

  • Dun Morogh: the troggs in Grol’bolar Quarry respawned too fast.
  • Durotar: Ridgeshade Lurkers have loot again.
  • Riverglades: Krek the Noxious drops the right loot.
  • Swamp of Sorrows: Pelluk sometimes did not spawn.
  • Teldrassil: Lasher Sproutlings, Blooming Lashers and Wrathvine were immune to Nature damage.
  • Searing Dagger only triggers on spells that deal damage.
  • You see other players and their targets better from far away.
  • The barbershop in Thunder Bluff was too dark. In Blizzard’s words, they “moooved the lights around”.
