Razorfen Downs and Uldaman open on the beta
Razorfen Downs and Uldaman are open on the World of Warcraft: Forever beta. They come with the level 30 build of 1 October, next to the new Excavation Site. Blizzard published the notes of the build that evening on the forums.
The beta now runs to level 30. Razorfen Downs opens from level 25 and Uldaman from 30. That makes fourteen dungeons on the beta, from Ragefire Chasm to Scarlet Monastery.
Dungeons and quests
The Excavation Site in the Wetlands is for levels 26 to 31, according to the notes. Josh Greenfield spoke of 24 to 29 before the build. Dungeon quests give 50% less bonus experience.
Monsters and objects in Hillsbrad Foothills, Ashenvale, the Wetlands, Duskwood and Thousand Needles respawn faster. Mulgore gets the quest “Kyle’s Gone Missing!”, and escort quests can be started again with 25 or more quests in the log.
PvP
Honor costs for PvP gear and upgrade tokens go up by about 50% for most items. The Honor cap rises from 15,000 to 25,000 to make room for the new prices.
Tradeskills and items
- Skinning: a creature can be skinned only once again before it disappears.
- Mining: fewer Poor Copper Veins in the starting areas.
- Enchanting: crafted wands sell for 1 copper.
- Blacksmithing and Leatherworking: recipes that drop at random in dungeons are now available.
- Shenthul in Orgrimmar trains the Windshaper Skyborne.
- A BoE item with an appearance you do not own becomes soulbound when you sell it to a vendor, no longer Bound to Account.
- Savory Whimsyfin Delight gives orc costumes instead of a Murloc or Ogre.
Camping and cities
Campfires no longer hurt players below level 5, and hurt players with less than 90% health less. The debuff
Boosted Rest gets a clearer icon and tooltip. Darnassus and Thunder Bluff get barbershops, every barbershop now has barbers, and city guards give directions to them.

Known issues
Blizzard lists new known issues, among them: enemies can parry and block from behind if you stand too close, the installation of WoW Forever is larger than intended, and
Retribution Aura uses the spell power of the target instead of the Paladin. Anduin Wrynn and other children unintentionally wear hats:
We’re in the process of removing them, but they keep giggling and running away, so this is going to take a while.
