Getting there

The Scarlet Monastery stands at the eastern end of Tirisfal Glades, at /way 85.1 31.4. The door of the Cathedral needs The Scarlet Key from the end of the Library, or a Rogue with Lockpicking 175.

The route

The numbers match the map above.

  1. The Chapel Gardens. A courtyard with a pond and packs of Scarlet soldiers. Pull them out to the door one group at a time.
  2. The Crusader’s Chapel. Rows of benches with more soldiers, and Scarlet Commander Mograine (2) before the altar. Pulling the chapel packs along brings Mograine into the fight, so clear the benches carefully.
  3. Behind the altar. High Inquisitor Whitemane (3) comes out of the room behind the altar when Mograine dies.
  4. The side room. High Inquisitor Fairbanks (1) waits in a small room off the chapel.

Important trash

The Chapel Gardens. Large packs of Scarlet soldiers with healers among them. Kill the healers first and pull from the doorway so you fight one pack at a time.

The chapel. Monks, Champions and Abbots on the benches. Every pack you leave behind can join the boss fight.

The bosses

High Inquisitor Fairbanks

Holds out with Heal, Power Word: Shield and Dispel Magic, and puts Curse of Blood, Fear and Sleep on the group. Interrupt the heals.

Scarlet Commander Mograine

Retribution Aura, Crusader Strike and Hammer of Justice, and Divine Shield when he is in danger. Kill him, and Whitemane comes out of the room behind the altar.

High Inquisitor Whitemane

Holy Smite, Heal and Power Word: Shield. At half health she puts everyone to sleep with Deep Sleep and resurrects Mograine with Scarlet Resurrection; then the two fight together. Save the tank’s health and the healer’s mana for that moment, and interrupt her heals.
