Razorfen Kraul: the dungeon guide for WoW Forever

Razorfen Kraul grew where the blood of the demigod Agamaggan fell, ten thousand years ago: a maze of giant thorny vines in the south of The Barrens. The quilboar live there under Charlga Razorflank. Eight bosses, two of them rares, and seven quests wait inside.

Getting there

Horde. Fly to Camp Taurajo and ride south. Turn west just before the Great Lift to Thousand Needles.

Alliance. Take the boat from Booty Bay to Ratchet, ride to the south of The Barrens and turn west before the Great Lift.

The level is the lowest level at which the quest can be picked up, according to Wowhead.

• Blueleaf Tubers. Take the Crate With Holes, the Snufflenose Owner’s Manual and the Snufflenose Command Stick from next to Mebok. Inside, the crate summons a Snufflenose Gopher; the stick makes it dig up a tuber. Repeat until you have 6.
• Willix the Importer. An escort at the end of the dungeon. Its path passes many Blueleaf Tubers.
• Mortality Wanes. Treshala’s Pendant drops from any quilboar inside.
• The Crone of the Kraul and A Vengeful Fate. Razorflank’s Medallion and Razorflank’s Heart, both from Charlga Razorflank. For the Alliance, Lonebrow’s Journal lies on the body of a dwarf at the foot of the Great Lift.
• Going, Going, Guano! Kraul Guano from the Kraul Bats in the last part. It is needed for Hearts of Zeal in Scarlet Monastery.
• An Unholy Alliance. The Small Scroll sends you to Varimathras in the Undercity; the chain continues in Razorfen Downs.

The quilboar casters

• Razorfen Totemics drop an Earthgrab Totem that roots everyone nearby for 30 seconds. Kill the totem first.
• Razorfen Dustweavers cast Enveloping Winds, a 10-second stun. Pull them one at a time.
• Death’s Head Adepts cast Chains of Ice. Easy to kill, but dangerous with a second pack nearby.

The bosses and their loot

The loot per boss comes from Wowhead, with the stats from the files of the beta.

Roogug

Optional, for two Warrior class quests. Clear the area first and banish the elemental at his side if a Warlock is in the group. No special loot.

Aggem Thorncurse

A level 30 tank and spank who summons a Boar Spirit. Kill the boar first.

Death Speaker Jargba

Comes with two hard-hitting casters. Crowd control at least one of them. Jargba takes control of a player with Dominate Mind, so kill him quickly.

A level 32 boss with heavy hits, flanked by two Razorfen Spearhides whose Whirling Barrage is deadly. Crowd control both if you can.

Agathelos the Raging

A level 33 boar with heavy single-target damage, Rushing Charge and Enrage. The fight is about keeping the tank alive.

Blind Hunter, a rare

In the bat cave. Stop casting when he starts his Sonic Burst, an area silence. Hunters can tame him.

Earthcaller Halmgar, a rare

Banish his elemental if you can, or clear the platform, kill his totems and burn the elemental first.

Charlga Razorflank

The last boss, a caster with little armor in an elevated hut. Pull her down to the platform, interrupt her and spread out against Chain Bolt. She heals herself and turns immune for a while.

Blue items from the monsters

Staff of the Shade, an item that binds when equipped, now gives 15 Stamina and up to 37 Shadow damage. Mantle of Thieves, Avenger’s Armor, Pugilist Bracers and Plains Ring stay the same.
