The route

A maze of thorny tunnels that runs from east to west. The numbers match the map above.

  1. The first caves. Roogug (1) waits close to the portal, with an Earth Rumbler at his side. He is optional unless you need his Vial of Phlogiston.
  2. The east. Aggem Thorncurse (2) and Death Speaker Jargba (3) stand in the caves to the east.
  3. The north. Overlord Ramtusk (4) waits with two Razorfen Spearhides. The rare Earthcaller Halmgar can stand on a platform in the middle.
  4. The far west. Agathelos the Raging (5), a giant boar, at the end of a long tunnel. The Blind Hunter, a rare bat, hides in the bat cave in the northwest.
  5. The end. Willix the Importer and the body of Heralath Fallowbrook wait in a tent before the last boss. Charlga Razorflank (6) sits in her hut.

Important trash

Razorfen Totemics drop an Earthgrab Totem that roots everyone nearby for 30 seconds. Kill the totem first.

Razorfen Dustweavers cast Enveloping Winds, a 10-second stun. Pull them one at a time.

Death’s Head Adepts cast Chains of Ice. Easy to kill, but dangerous with a second pack nearby.

The bosses

Roogug

Casts Lightning Bolt and calls an Earth Rumbler. Kill the elemental first, or banish it if a Warlock is in the group.

Aggem Thorncurse

Battle Shout, Chain Heal and a Boar Spirit that he summons. Kill the boar first and interrupt every heal.

Death Speaker Jargba

Comes with two hard-hitting casters; crowd control at least one of them. Jargba casts Shadow Bolt and takes control of a player with Dominate Mind. Crowd control the controlled player and kill Jargba quickly.

Overlord Ramtusk

A level 32 boss in Battle Stance with Thunder Clap and Battle Shout, flanked by two Razorfen Spearhides whose Whirling Barrage is deadly. Crowd control both if you can.

Agathelos the Raging

A level 33 boar with heavy single-target damage. Rushing Charge, Enrage and Rampage make the fight about keeping the tank alive.

Charlga Razorflank

The last boss, a caster with little armor in a raised hut. Pull her down to the platform, interrupt her and spread out against Chain Bolt. She heals herself with Renew and turns immune for a while with Purity.

The Blind Hunter in the bat cave casts Sonic Burst, a silence on everyone nearby; stop casting when it starts. Hunters can tame him.
