12Getting there
The Scarlet Monastery stands at the eastern end of Tirisfal Glades, at /way 85.1 31.4. It has four wings, each with its own entrance: the Graveyard, the Library, the Armory and the Cathedral. Groups usually level through them in that order. The Graveyard is the door on the far side of the monastery, past the cemetery.
For the Horde, the Undercity is close by. The Alliance has a long trip; Southshore in the Hillsbrad Foothills is the nearest flight point.

The route
The numbers match the map above.
- The Chamber of Atonement. From the portal, a corridor leads to Interrogator Vishas (1). Vorrel Sengutz is held in the same room.
- The Forlorn Cloister. A courtyard full of undead. One of three rares can spawn here: Azshir the Sleepless, the Fallen Champion or Ironspine.
- Honor’s Tomb. Bloodmage Thalnos (2) waits at the far end.
Important trash
Undead in the Forlorn Cloister. Ghosts and skeletons stand in small groups between the graves. Pull them one group at a time; the casters among them hit harder than they look.
The rares. Azshir uses Call of the Grave, Terrify and
Soul Siphon. The Fallen Champion uses
Rend, Cleave and
Execute. Ironspine uses
Curse of Weakness and
Poison Cloud.
The bosses
Interrogator Vishas
Casts Shadow Word: Pain and
Immolate. A short fight; remove the damage over time where you can.
Bloodmage Thalnos
Flame Spike,
Fire Nova,
Flame Shock and
Shadow Bolt. Fire Nova burns everyone close to him, so the melee keep their health up and step out when they can.
