Scarlet Monastery: the dungeon guide for WoW Forever

Scarlet Monastery is the stronghold of the Scarlet Crusade in Tirisfal Glades, a dungeon of four wings: the Graveyard, the Library, the Armory and the Cathedral. In WoW Forever several of its drops are reworked, and the Chain of the Scarlet Crusade set gets new bonuses. This guide holds what is known so far.

The beta of WoW Forever goes up to level 30 since 1 October. Testers clear the Graveyard and the Library; the Armory and the Cathedral are above the cap, and what drops there in Forever is not confirmed yet.

The levels come from the NPC data of the beta. The Graveyard and the Library are open to everyone. The doors of the Armory and the Cathedral need The Scarlet Key, which lies in the Library, or a Rogue with Lockpicking 175.

The quests come from the data of Classic and can still change. Every dungeon quest of Forever is in the dungeon guide. The rewards come from Wowhead; Sword of Omen, Prophetic Cane and Dragon’s Blood Necklace are not in its Forever data yet.

Graveyard

Interrogator Vishas

Torturing Poker no longer deals a fixed amount of Fire damage. Every melee hit tortures the target for 1 Fire damage and adds 1 to that damage, up to 10 stacks, so at full stacks every attack deals 10 extra Fire damage. Bloody Brass Knuckles used to be a white fist weapon and is now blue, with 12 Attack Power and another 15 against Humanoids.

Bloodmage Thalnos

Bloodmage Mantle goes from green to blue: 9 Intellect, up to 9 spell damage and healing, and 9 health every 5 seconds. Thalnos also drops Orb of the Forgotten Seer, an off-hand with up to 13 spell damage and healing.

Azshir the Sleepless, a rare

Ghostshard Talisman now gives 9 Stamina, 14 Attack Power and another 12 against Undead, where it used to give only Stamina and Spirit. Necrotic Wand becomes a healing wand, with up to 9 healing, 3 spell damage and 4 Shadow Resistance. Blighted Leggings is the third blue item he drops on the beta.

The other two rares, Fallen Champion and Ironspine, have no confirmed changes yet.

Library

Houndmaster Loksey

Loksey’s Training Stick used to be good only against Beasts. The staff now gives 28 Attack Power and a chance on hit to deal 91 Physical damage; Canines and Hyenas hit by it are stunned for 3 seconds and sit down. Loksey also drops a new Houndmaster Boomerang, a thrown weapon with 4 Stamina, 4 Attack Power and another 9 against Beasts that returns to your hand. It has item level 36 and asks for level 31.

Wowhead lists two older drops for Loksey as well:

Arcanist Doan

Chain of the Scarlet Crusade

The mail set of the Scarlet Crusade drops from monsters all over the dungeon, several pieces from trash. Since 6 October the pieces drop on the beta, and their tooltips confirm two new bonuses, Enraging Light and Scarlet Guardian. The belt, the gauntlets and the wristguards went from green to blue.

Enraging Light has a cooldown of 15 seconds between procs, according to its tooltip. The shield of Scarlet Guardian absorbs 480 damage.

All six pieces are mail. The leggings bind when picked up, the other five when equipped.
