5Getting there
The entrance lies in the sunken Night Elf ruins on the Zoram Strand, in the northwest corner of Ashenvale, at /way 14.5 14.6. Dive into the pool at the bottom of the ruins and follow the narrow, winding cave behind it. It is full of elite naga, so go in as a group.
The Horde has Zoram’gar Outpost a short way south. The Alliance gathers its quests in Darnassus, Darkshore and Ironforge.

The route
Three levels with water in between, so bring water breathing if the group has it. The numbers match the maps above.
- The Pool of Ask’Ar. Ghamoo-ra (1), a turtle, waits in the water of the first cavern. Argent Guard Thaelrid and the
Lorgalis Manuscript are in an alcove of the same room. - The naga. Lady Sarevess (2) stands with two guards in the west.
- The murlocs. Gelihast (3) guards a room of murlocs in the east. Clear it one pull at a time. After the fight, click the stone behind him for the
Blessing of Blackfathom. - Moonshrine Sanctum. Lorgus Jett (4) walks with his Twilight’s Hammer followers; he has no fixed spot. The Fathom Stone that summons Baron Aquanis lies underwater.
- The Forgotten Pool. Old Serra’kis (5) swims in the deep water and is optional.
- The ceremonial chamber. Twilight Lord Kelris (6) waits in front of the final room. After him, light the four braziers around the statue; each one brings a wave of monsters.
- Aku’mai’s lair. Aku’mai (7) waits at the far end.
Important trash
The naga in the entrance cave. Elite and close together. Pull them one pack at a time before you even reach the portal.
Twilight’s Hammer casters. Aquamancers, Elementalists and Shadowmages hit hard from range. Interrupt them or break line of sight so they come to you. They also drop the Twilight Pendants for Twilight Falls.
The braziers. Every brazier brings a wave. The turtles hit hardest; an off-tank, a pet or a Rogue with Evasion should take one of them.
The bosses
Ghamoo-ra
A level 25 turtle with high armor. He Tramples a random party member, so the healer keeps everyone topped up. He can be stunned and feared.
Lady Sarevess
A level 25 naga with two guards. Crowd control one guard and kill the other first. Her Forked Lightning is a frontal cone that jumps between players, so spread out. It can be interrupted, but then she casts
Frost Nova on anyone close. Slow hits the tank.
Gelihast
A level 26 murloc. Pull the adds of his room one by one, then pull him alone. His Net roots a random target and lowers their threat.
Lorgus Jett
A level 26 elite and the target of Allegiance to the Old Gods. He appears at one of several places in Moonshrine Sanctum. His
Lightning Shield hurts the melee who hit him, and he casts
Lightning Bolt.
Old Serra’kis
An optional level 26 shark, fought underwater. He heals himself as he attacks. Keep an eye on your breath and surface if you need to.
Twilight Lord Kelris
A level 27 orc warlock in the ceremonial chamber. He casts Sleep and
Mind Blast, and neither can be interrupted. Remove the sleep: when the tank is asleep, the next player on the threat list takes the hits.
Aku’mai
The final boss, a level 28 hydra. Stay out of his
Poison Cloud; it can be interrupted.
Frenzied Rage gives him 75% more attack speed for 5 seconds at low health. Save stuns and the tank’s cooldowns for it.
