Getting there

Horde. Walk into the Cleft of Shadow in Orgrimmar, /way 53.0 48.9, and follow it down to the portal.

Alliance. Ragefire Chasm lies in the middle of a Horde capital. Take the boat to Ratchet and run to the northeastern tip of The Barrens, where the west entrance of Orgrimmar is quieter. Take off your gear and make a corpse run into the Cleft of Shadow until you can zone in.

After a wipe, the Spirit Healer stands in Durotar, outside the city.

The route

A short cave with one fork. The numbers match the map above.

  1. The first cave. From the portal, go down to a junction and turn west. Oggleflint (1) waits among his troggs.
  2. The lost satchel. Up the path beside the lava, a dead end holds the corpse of Maur Grimtotem for Searching for the Lost Satchel.
  3. The lava field. Back at the junction, take the southern path and climb. Taragaman the Hungerer (2) stands on a platform in the middle of the lava.
  4. The ledge. Circle around the western edge and climb up to Bazzalan (4).
  5. The last room. Drop off the cliff from Bazzalan’s ledge and you land next to Jergosh the Invoker (3).

Important trash

The casters hit the hardest. Pull them around a corner, out of sight, so they have to come to you and no extra pack joins.

Ragefire Shamans. Lightning Bolt, and Healing Wave on their friends. Interrupt or stun the heal.

Molten Elementals. Fire Shield deals Fire damage to everyone who hits them in melee.

Searing Blade Cultists. Curse of Agony on the tank.

Searing Blade Enforcers. Shield Slam stuns the tank for 2 seconds. Two of them together can chain the stun, so pull them one at a time.

Searing Blade Warlocks. A Voidwalker at their side and a stream of Shadow Bolts. Break line of sight to pull them in.

The bosses

Oggleflint

A trogg chief with troggs around him. Pull a few of them first so the group is not overwhelmed. His only ability is Cleave, so the tank turns him away from the group.

Taragaman the Hungerer

He stands on a platform surrounded by lava. Fire Nova hits everyone in melee range and Uppercut knocks the tank back and up. Tank him in the middle of the platform so nobody flies into the lava, and pull nearby patrols first.

Jergosh the Invoker

In the last room, with two adds that can both be crowd controlled. He casts Immolate and Curse of Weakness, which makes it harder for the tank to hold threat. Remove the curse and kill Jergosh first: he is the strongest of the three.

Bazzalan

On a ledge with two adds; the add on the right can be pulled without him. Bazzalan hits hard with Sinister Strike and poisons the tank. Cure the poison and kill him quickly, then the adds.
